I am a full professor in AI at the Dept. of Computer Science, Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC Barcelona Tech). I've worked for over 25 years in (bio)medical applications of ML. Right now, I collaborate in the areas of nephrology, oncology, opthalmology and psychiatry, with an aside in bioinformatics. Also quite into the assessment of societal impact of the use of AI in Health and other areas.
